Gemma Darracott

Hello 👋 I am Gemma, and I’ve been crocheting for over 15 years, and working as a digital designer for even longer. My love of crochet goes right back to childhood, watching my mum crochet while I grew up. Those early memories are still stitched into everything I make today.

With a background in user interface design and design systems, I naturally bring structure, clarity, and thoughtful design into my crochet patterns and digital work. It’s where my two worlds meet, and honestly, where I’m happiest creating.

I’ve also been involved in several community projects in and around Liverpool, including Bold Street Snakes, which even made the headlines. In 2023, I began designing and publishing colouring books, which are available to purchase on Amazon.
